To start on a journey of the soul takes courage beyond what I have ever accomplished. My journey of the soul means listening to my spirit. That small voice who has big dreams. Dreams that I shame myself for. I cut myself down. I will convince myself that I can never be who I wish to become. Not good enough, not smart enough, just simply not enough. My aspirations and visions, hopes and dreams of the ME I wish to be have whispered to me for years. My resistance has been a much louder voice. It calls me to clean the toilet, scrub the floors, anything that will distract me from just simply making that first small step……..This today is my first small step.
I have been spending much of my free time listening to motivational speakers, miracle stories, and night time meditations. I’ve been wondering when I will reach a point of being evolved enough to walk into my own spot light. Reaching a height high enough to share my story and be a small change in this world.
So many of the authors out there, speakers, and mystics reached that point and then shared of themselves. I wonder what if I set out on this journey with you. What if I was able to be transparent, vulnerable, and humble to the point of complete acceptance of exactly where I am today, knowing that so many others can relate. Maybe, just possibly I can be an inspiration to others.
Today is a baby step….but it is a step. Have courage to move forward. Be wise enough to listen to the whisper of your heart. Be fully conscious of the limited amount of time we have on this earth. What do you want to do with it? What is holding you back? I would put money on the possibility that you like me are the only thing standing in your way. Give yourself a FREEDOM JOURNEY!
